Big Sky Cabin Crew Training Academy was established in 2003 as an idée, and began operating as an approved Civil Aviation Training facility on the 28th of March 2004.

Big Sky is situated at Wonderboom Airport in Hangar 11B, with the full facilities of 2 classrooms fully equiped for training, we use the Aircraft on the Airport premisess for live training to introduce students to the real and actual working environment of a Cabin Crew member.

We have accommodation for 3 to 6 students on the premises, and a fully equiped Canteen/ Bar (after hours), allowing the students maximun study time in the aviation environment.

Our instructors and Designated examiners are highly qualified staff, employed on a freelance basis. Our instructors/designate examiners are all currently South African Airways employees as flying crew and cabin crew. This ensures that the students recieve the highest standards of training for local and international carriers.
